Stephen F. Brown, President
Stephen Brown is the principal founder of CamGuard Systems, Inc., the leader and pioneer in temporary security surveillance. Mr. Brown’s twenty-five years plus of experience in the construction industry has given him an edge with competitors, bringing his empathetic, in-depth understanding and knowledge of security needs to the construction environment. His accomplishments at CamGuard include the designing and development of the company’s patented portable surveillance system and he continues to helm the growth of the company.
Rick Wesselink, Vice-President, Secretary
Rick Wesselink has been involved with CamGuard Systems since its inception. As one of the co-founders of the company, Mr. Wesselink drew on his extensive business experience to help the organization grow into the power house it is today. Acting as Chairman of the Board of Directors, he takes an active role in guiding the company as it continues to increase its business base. Additionally, Mr. Wesselink is involved as the general partner/ manager of multiple real estate investment trusts focusing on commercial, office and residential development and sales. He is currently developing a luxurious golf course in Illinois and El Encanto de La Laguna in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur. Other business interests include being a founding member and Director of San Diego Trust Bank as well as Jack In The Box Franchise Restaurant Development and Operations. He has an extensive background in real estate development and a successful entrepreneurial spirit that has helped spawn economic growth in manufacturing, fast food and distribution business.
Kathleen A. Sowder, CPP , Vice-President, Technology
Kathleen Sowder has over thirty years experience in the security industry, holds a CPP designation as well as licenses for high voltage electrical contracting and alarm company operations in CA. Ms. Sowder's background includes executive level positions with ADT and Westec. Her responsibility at CamGuard includes all IT, engineering and technology related disciplines as well as central station operations, and low voltage installation.
